Resume Writing

The Learning Coach Program provides free resume writing for young parents. We write a complete resume that covers your professional experience, educational experience, technical expertise, and other career-related attributes. This resume is created in MS Word and PDF format and can be easily updated and edited for individual applications. It serves as a comprehensive history of your experience and highlights key accomplishments and sells the best side of you

Assisted Job Search

The Learning Coach Program reviews a series of public and private job boards to source jobs of interest for our young parents. When we find an opening that meets your stated criteria, we’ll send it to you for review. Our goal is to reduce the amount of time you spend visiting websites and talking to recruiters by streamlining the job sourcing process.

Targeted Applications and Interview Preparation

Once you find a job of interest, the Learning Coach Program will create a targeted resume and cover letter for that position. We’ll also review the job application form and provide a strong response to any additional questions that are part of the application. You can then review that content prior to the formal application.

The Learning Coach Program also provides mock-interview and interview preparation strategy meetings. If you have a specific interview that you’re preparing for, we’ll provide you with a research summary on that company and the specific position and provide you with a list of thoughtful, follow-up questions you might ask during that interview.
